People of Troy New York! Hear me now! For too long you have starved!  There is a place where one can come together with their fellow humans — speak their minds share their hopes and dreams and fears and above all – eat well. This place – this embassy of good eating is known as Carmens Cafe — a small outpost of  Troy New York — a small outpost of the spirit that resides in us all — that tells us we are a community—a community that can do whatever they put their mind to.

What this country hungers for. What it truly hungers for is an end to the imbalance — to the downtrodding of the common man. But more than that, what he hungers for is quality food. Food that fills you – fills you with the power you need – the strength you need to overcome that which oppresses you. What you need are damned good empanadas!
