Spanish Hot Chocolate
The perfect way to start the day! We shave Dark Chocolate into Milk & Cream, add Oranges and Cinnamon, then top it off with Whipped Cream, a pinch of Fresh-Ground Nutmeg, and a Slice Of Orange.
Almond Crusted French Toast
Imagine our wonderful French Toast, made with our own fresh batter, crusted in Almonds. Then drizzle it with Carmel, add Fresh Whipped Cream and garnish with Ripe Red Raspberries! Seriously, folks, this redefines pleasure.
Vegan Huevos Flamenco
With a Lentil base and Spices all its own, Vegan Huevos Flamenco is a hit with our Vegan friends. It stands up next to the original in savor and texture, yet has no animal products. Topped with a Froth of Cornmeal (what, did you think that was Scrambled Eggs?), it’s a rich and hearty dish from the folks who brought you Huevos Flamenco.
That’s Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato AND Avocado, for that extra creamy tongue-friendliness. Served with a healthy portion of Yucca Fries or Salad. A real crowd pleaser!

Cooking Class at the Different Drummer on December 3, 6-8 pm: How does he do what he do? Voodoo! Let Chef Chris Faraci teach you voodoo magic making charcuterie (Who do? You do! Right in class!) on Tuesday, December 3 at the Different Drummer Kitchen, Stuyvesant Plaza. Come prepared to make that magic! -and bring an appetite, you’ll get to eat what you make!

Seriously, when we tried this, we called Paris and told them to stand back, we just redefined French Toast. Leave it to a Cuban-American restaurant to make Frencher-than-French Toast!
It starts as usual, with the extra thick bread, dipped in our own special batter. We crust it with chopped almonds, drizzle it lightly with caramel, then top it with Fresh Ricotta Mousse and Fresh Raspberries. Wowie Zowie, what a winner!
And speaking of winners, we have a special Pollo de Fuego Sandwich….mildly spiced braised chicken thighs with warm chipotle sauce, and topped with a celery-carrot slaw that tickles your taste buds!
