“Yummy Yummy Yummy”

Since we got married in Puerto Rico in March and fell in love with Plantains and Cassava/Yuca we’ve been looking for a restaurant locally that can at least recreate our dining experiences from Puerto Rico. Carmen’s is Cuban food but the dishes are so similar we decided to try it. We WILL be back and often. Absolutely delicious food, great service, family friendly atmosphere, reasonably priced. We had Cuban eggs which we chose scrambled with black beans, plantains and rice with avocado slices on top plus a side order of fried Yuca with Carmen’s fresh homemade sauce. Excellent. Be sure to try Carmen’s if you are ever in Troy. Its a small restaurant so call ahead.
