Flamenco— the first batch

Hard to believe how much Flamenco we are making these days. This used to last two weeks, now it’s one of two batches for the weekend.

Add the peppers, simmer for an hour, then serve it in a bowl with two fried eggs on top and a grilled Portugese roll on the side.

What a way to start the weekend!

Lamb for the Roasting

Take a tender leg of lamb. Sprinkle with salt & pepper, oregano and coriander.…

Bring On The Garlic…

Then rub it in with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. There’s a warm spot in my heart for Roast Lamb.

A self-guided walking tour of backyard gardens in the Historic Sage, Washington Park, Think First, and adjoining districts in downtown Troy.

Thursday, May 23, 2013, 4 to 7 pm rain or shine
Admission $10; all proceeds benefit ongoing projects in Prospect Park.
Parking and Check-in/Tickets: Russell Sage parking lot at the corner of First and Division Streets.

Please enjoy and respect the beauty of these private spaces. As the gardens are small, there is limited access for baby strollers.
